Pulses
Pulses are the seeds of legume plants that are edible. Pulses occur in a variety of forms, sizes, and colours and are grown in pods. Pulses are classified as dry beans, dry broad beans, dry peas, chickpeas, cow peas, pigeon peas, lentils, Bambara beans, vetches, lupins, and pulses by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).
